EVENT: a new way to tackle scope 3 emissions in the chemical industry
Launched in September, the PCF Guideline has been created by TfS to establish a consistent way of generating PCFs throughout the chemical industry.
Discover how a first-of-its-kind guide for calculating chemical Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) can revolutionise one of the highest GHG-emitting industries. |
|
With around two-thirds of the chemical industry’s global emissions in scope 3, companies are facing urgent pressures to reduce emissions in order to meet the Paris Agreement goals, set corporate sustainability targets and meet increasing customer demands for supply chain transparency. But chemical supply chains are exceptionally complex and obtaining accurate PCF data for scope 3.1 reporting has been near impossible.
Until now.
Please join World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and Together for Sustainability (TfS) for a virtual panel discussion with three major chemical companies that have begun using a first-of-its-kind solution tailored for the chemical industry: The PCF Guideline.
Launched in September, the PCF Guideline has been created by TfS – a sustainability collaborative of over 37 global chemical companies – to establish a consistent way of generating PCFs throughout the chemical industry.
During our interactive event, you’ll hear from cross-sector sustainability leaders and chemical companies on their experience with the PCF Guideline, including:
• What it is
• How suppliers and corporations can use it
• How it can be rolled out in your organisation
• Above all, why it matters
Please note that this event will be recorded, and the recording may be publicly available. If you have any questions or would like more information on our privacy policy and your rights, please contact info@tfs-initiative.com
