The TfS office team is very happy to welcome Rebecca Weicht and Margherita Locatelli:
Rebecca Weicht is the new TfS Capability building and Trainings Project Manager. Rebecca will play a pivotal role in the development of a practice-oriented learning environment for both supplier and buyer communities to help solve key issues in the field of sustainable development.
Rebecca brings substantial work experience in the field of Capability building and Trainings: previously she led the development of blended e-learning and face-to-face learning paths and conceptualized the launch of a learning management system reaching 50.000 users. She also designed and delivered training on sustainability topics for hundreds of sustainability and procurement officers and business leaders.
Rebecca previously co-founded and led a non-profit for entrepreneurial learning policy and practice. She continued her career as Associate Lecturer and Doctoral researcher in the field business and human rights field, researching the working and business conditions of solo self-employed entrepreneurs at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.
Margherita Locatelli is the new TfS Project Assistant and will take responsibility for all TfS office tasks including admin, and support of the invoicing and accounting. In addition, she will work with the TfS Audit Manager, on audit related tasks.
Margherita completed a Blue Book Traineeship at the European Commission where she was also involved in audit topics. Prior to this, she worked for the European Institute for Asian Studies in Brussels.
She holds an MA Global Studies from Ghent University and Wroclaw University (exchange semester at Fudan University Shanghai). She is fluent in Italian and English and speaks Chinese and German.
The arrival of 2 new colleagues will strengthen the TfS office team, extending its capability at this crucial time of global implementation of the Grow&Deliver strategy (2021-2025). Together with the global and regional workstreams, the TfS office drives, manages, and oversees the implementation and roll out of the TfS initiative globally and in the regions.
